Cold & short

There was a slight air of hysteria around the office today, brought on by the fire-sale of the UK retail banking sector - I love to see a bargain boot sale subsidised by the hardworking British tax payer.

The weather turned bloody cold in Hong Kong today, but it didn't seem to stop my 5pm meeting attendee from wearing a very short skirt, giving me a full display of her wonderfully shapely pins. However, unfortunately the shapeliness of her legs did not seem to contribute to her understanding of capital consolidation.

Getting slightly sick of Mary (Wife No.1) hanging around in Hong Kong. It's not that I don't love her, it's just that I love her a lot more when she's in Bangkok & I'm in Hong Kong. Damn, she even seems to have taken a liking to the cold weather... !

I don't get this "the weather turned bloody cold" today stuff. It went down to what, 20? Temperatures in restaurants, movie theaters, shopping malls, offices all seem to be set at 17 year round. The temperature didn't turn "bloody cold," it turned "bloody comfortable!"
